CPD4PHYSIO1001_Learning and Teaching for Physiotherapy - Part A

The Learning and Teaching for Physiotherapy course will provide physiotherapists with the ability to integrate constructive alignment, intended learning outcomes and teaching methods to effectively deliver clinically focused teaching activities. In doing so, the course introduces features of delivery and educator roles and behaviours that optimise the learning experience, and the use of evidence-supported learner focused models to provide constructive feedback. It also covers theories of psychomotor skill development.

The course is ideal for recent graduates, physiotherapists commencing teaching and learning activities or experienced physiotherapists wishing to undertake refresher CPD.

Learning and Teaching for Physiotherapy is delivered through a blended learning model comprising two parts:

  • Part A is the first component of the Learning and Teaching for Physiotherapy course and consists of six OnDemand, self-paced modules
  • Part B live virtual classroom is very interactive and will include lively discussions between learners and expert presenters, with the opportunity to deliver a microteach and receive feedback

Part A is the first component of the Learning and Teaching for Physiotherapy course and consists of six online self-paced modules. You must complete all six modules in order to receive a certificate.
