PRF Fundraising Launch
The PRF is excited to launch its fundraising initiative, Fundraise4physio. You can get involved and make a difference through research. Your fundraising efforts will allow the PRF to allocate further research grants. This research enables physiotherapists to adopt the latest, safest and most effective techniques when providing treatment.
2021 PRF Grant Recipients
The PRF has awarded over $1.8 million in grants since 1990, funding research across a range of areas including respiratory conditions, incontinence, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, knee osteoarthritis and more. Some Seeding Grant recipients have successfully entered into research careers within Australian universities and internationally.
Measuring the value of the Physiotherapy Research Foundation
In 2020, the PRF engaged Survey Matters to evaluate the impact of PRF grant funding on research capacity, knowledge production and clinical practice in the physiotherapy profession over the past 30 years. PRF Grant Recipients were invited to complete an online survey.
